Planting Seeds for a Sustainable Future
A dedicated group of 30 Xiaomi fans and staff joined forces to prepare native tree seedlings, contributing to Haribon’s Forests for Life Movement. This impactful initiative unites local communities in restoring the Philippines’ lost forests and mangroves. The seedlings prepared by the XFC will be nurtured and eventually planted in protected areas within Sierra Madre, significantly bolstering ongoing forest restoration efforts.
Combating Deforestation for a Healthier Ecosystem
The Philippines grapples with a concerning deforestation rate. Xiaomi’s partnership with Haribon Foundation directly addresses this environmental challenge. By nurturing and planting native trees, XFC members are actively promoting the rebuilding of healthy ecosystems, ultimately securing a more sustainable future for Filipinos.
