vivo Heats Up Manila with Year 2 of the 3×3 Basketball Challenge

Manila, Philippines – The hardwood roared at SM City Fairview as the vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge kicked off its second year in grand fashion! As the official partner of the National Basketball Association (NBA), vivo Philippines continues its commitment to fostering community spirit, promoting health and fitness, and celebrating Filipino athletic talent through this exciting tournament.

Eight Teams Triumph in the First Leg

The exhilarating first leg, held on July 21st, saw eight teams emerge victorious – four from the Men’s Division and four from the Women’s Division. These champions will now prepare to battle it out for the ultimate glory at the Grand Finals scheduled for August 16th and 17th at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia.

Expanding the Game: Open to All Filipinos

Previously held exclusively at universities, the 2024 edition opens the competition to all Filipinos aged 19 and above. This exciting change allows a wider range of aspiring athletes to showcase their skills and compete for top honors.
