TCL Philippines Partners up with TESDA
TCL Philippines, a leading consumer electronics brand, has partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to donate the newest TCL’s AAT Inverter+ Refrigerators and training supplies to TESDA Technology Institution (TTI) Beneficiaries in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The partnership was sealed during the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the TCL PH Headquarters which was attended by TCL and TESDA-NCR Officials and Representatives.
The partnership aims to provide assistance to TESDA’s training related to food processing and domestic work programs. The newest TCL’s AAT Inverter+ Refrigerators donated to TESDA reflects TCL’s dedication in delivering cutting-edge home technology at reasonable price while enabling consumers to live healthier, more environmentally friendly and more practical lives.
TESDA Manila District Director Niña Connie G. Dodd expressed her gratitude to TCL for the partnership, saying that it will be very useful as they deliver quality TVET trainings through their community-based approach in NCR.
TCL Brand Manager Joseph Cernitchez said that the company is always happy to give assistance to its fellow Filipinos. He added that they hope that the partnership will bring new hope to more people to uplift their livelihood.
In addition to the donation of refrigerators and training supplies, TCL and TESDA also agreed to work together on the following:
- Conducting joint training programs on healthy food preparation and culinary skills
- Developing curriculum materials on healthy food preparation and culinary skills
- Providing scholarships to TESDA students
The partnership between TCL and TESDA is a win-win for both parties. TCL is able to give back to the community and support the development of Filipino skills, while TESDA is able to provide its students with the latest technology and training. The partnership is also a testament to the growing importance of TVET in the Philippines.
