PUBG’s Battle Royale Game Revs Up the Intensity
Playing the wildly popular Player Unknown Battle Ground is already intense with the shrinking map, fast-moving vehicles, and of course shooting the other players. The pulse-pounding game will get a lot faster and more pulse pounding.
Developers recently announce the roadmap for 2018.The PUGB roadmap includes a new, smaller map specifically designed to create more intense, faster-paced battle royale experience. It will still be the same game that 100 players that kill each other off each wanting to survive but in on a smaller island. This will lead to faster engagement and interactions between the players. There is also a larger map which is in the works. Imagine cramming 100 players into a game area of 4 square kilometers now that will lead to intense action.
The developers also said that they will be adding more to the game. The games sounds will be improved later in the year. Vehicles will have more realistic sounds screeching, pothole sounds and a lot more sounds with the players moving around inside the vehicle. Player movement sounds will also be changing the sounds will now be based on the load out of the player. this will make it more difficult to hide when other players can hear you creeping around the area. The developers are also developing new ballistics for the game and will add bullet penetration into vehicles.
Additional in-game achievements will be tested out by the developers, and other goodies that will make the game a lot more fun for the player.
Those are the big announcements, but this post is by no means exhaustive. Check out the company’s official announcement for a complete look at the game’s 2018 roadmap.
