ONE Championship Heavyweight Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera entertains questions during the press conference of ONE Championship: Roots of Honor. Happening on April 12, 2019, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Brandon explains his preparation for his upcoming challenge of Aung La Nsang’s Light Heavyweight crown. How he is progressing with his weight management and the sacrifices that come along with it. The training methods he and his team had to employ to ensure that he will come prepared as the time comes.

He also showed tremendous respect for the reigning Light Heavyweight King Aung La Nsang. Vera noted the fact how the “Burmese Python” quickly disposed of his last opponent in defense of his title and how Aung La can become a dangerous opponent if underestimated.
