Acer Day 2018: Play Music Together
July 20, 2018 – Acer, the global leader in computer hardware technologies, once again kicked off a fun-filled day. The 2nd Acer day was kicked off with much fanfare as the first one. Themed “Play Music Together”, the event was headlined with a concert and dance show. Joining the event were renowned dance troupe G-Force, top and upcoming female vocalist Moira dela Torre, and high energy band IV of Spades.
The event was introduced last year by Acer in 14 Pan Asia Pacific countries. This year the countries participating grew to 20 in the region to join in the fun and the experience of the celebration. Aside from the Philippines, Acer day 2018 was kicked off in Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The theme “Playing Music Together”, Acer Philippines celebrated the day by expressing Music as one of the most powerful forms of communication. The event brought together the live performance from G-Force who specially choreographed a special dance number for Acer. Moira dela Torre serenaded the crowd with her hits and IV of Spades delivered their high energy signature performance to the delight of the people and fans who participated in the event.
Treats and prizes awaited everyone who finished the challenges set about Acer during the Acer Day Celebration. Prizes such as a trip for 2 to Taiwan and Acer laptops were up for grabs.
On top of that, there will be promotions where you can earn discounts from 1,000 to 5,000 Pesos in 33 participating Acer Concept stores nationwide.
Acer Day Music Video Fest
Acer also formally launched the Acer Day Music Video fest during the event. A grand prize of Php 500,000.00 for the group who wins. By simply following the dance steps that were done by G-Force the top 3 dance teams will be getting Php 100,000.00 and will be duking it out with each other to get the grand prize.
