Powered by a 29.6kWh BYD Blade battery and a 1.5T onboard generator, the dual electric motors deliver an impressive combined output of 435 PS and 650 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful pickups in its class.

The BYD Shark 6 DMO strikes a perfect balance between strength and sophistication. Built on the Cell-to-Chassis framework, it uses the proprietary Blade Battery as an integral part of the vehicle’s ladder frame and safety structure. This design enhances the truck’s rigidity and safety, providing a robust yet stylish build.

The truck’s bold, muscular stance is highlighted by a commanding front grille showcasing the BYD mega symbol, LED headlights, and connected daytime running lights. The two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, standard in both variants, provide traction and emphasize its off-road readiness.

Designed for both rugged terrain and cityscapes, the electrified “lifestyle” pickup boasts a remarkable 230 mm ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, allowing it to traverse challenging landscapes with ease. From uneven off-road paths to flooded streets, the Shark 6 DMO handles it all with confidence. Its payload capacity of 835 kg and towing capacity of 2,500 kg make it ideal for adventures that require hauling gear and cargo.

For improved stability and ride comfort, the Shark 6 DMO features front and rear double wishbone suspension, a combination not commonly found in pickups. This setup provides a smoother ride whether on straights or corners, on and off the road.

The truck also offers three drive modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—and multi-terrain modes like Sand and Mud, allowing drivers to adapt to various driving conditions and preferences.

Luxurious and Functional Interior

Inside the BYD Shark 6 DMO, the cabin blends premium materials with minimalist design. Leather seats with striking orange highlights ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. The Premium model features a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat and 4-way lumbar support, allowing for a customized driving position. Seat heating and ventilation for the two front seats are standard in the Premium trim.

Passenger comfort is prioritized with rear seatbacks reclined by 27 degrees and expansive knee-room, ensuring a more relaxing posture for rear passengers over long drives.

At the center of the modern yet functional interior is a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen display that integrates seamlessly with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The BYD Shark 6 DMO is competitively priced, starting at Php 2,098,000 for the Advanced variant and Php 2,298,000 for the Premium variant. First-time BYD customers who purchase a Shark 6 DMO by March 31, 2025, will receive a Php 50,000 discount. Current BYD owners who buy a Shark 6 DMO within the same period will receive an additional Php 50,000 discount, totaling Php 100,000. Customers referred by existing BYD owners will also receive the maximum Php 100,000 discount.

The Shark 6 DMO is available in three stunning color options: Deep Sea Blue, Cosmos Black, and Aurora White. It comes with impressive warranty coverage, including an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the BYD Blade battery, an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty for the drive unit, and a 6-year or 150,000 km warranty for the vehicle.
